To test the utility of this 3-D scanner to read very eroded headstones, we scanned several at the Old Catholic Cemetery in Lexington, Kentucky. The scans revealed that the 3-D image was much easier to read, and that some headstones that were virtually unreadable otherwise were rendered intelligible. |
