Welcome! You are about to set off on a challenging trip to a variety of different places in Peru.  Some of you have extensive travel experience, and may have a sense of what to expect. If the majority of your experience is in the United States or Europe, this trip may be very different. You will see amazing things, but also some disturbing things, including extreme poverty. The food, living conditions, and weather may be challenging. Some attitudes and standards, such as ideas of time and punctuality may be frustrating to us. This is all part of the experience, and we have not attempted to remove these challenges.

The trip will be very challenging and uncomfortable at times, but you will be getting an authentic experience in the areas that we travel. This is an epic trip along one of the world’s great mountaineering destinations. This is not a trip to a series of museums or tourist attractions, and things can change without notice. For this reason, we must bring with us on this trip flexibility, patience, and understanding.

This trip  runs from June 5th to June 19th, 2012. You may arrive early or stay longer, of course, but that will be on your own.

The trip will cost $2,250.00 plus airfare, which usually runs around $900.00, for a total cost of around $3,150.00. Each participant will be responsible for their own airfare, although we can help you with that if you like. The price of the tour covers everything for the two weeks, including food (with the exception of one dinner), transportation, and lodging. You will be responsible for a $30.00 airport tax when leaving Peru.
